We will get warmed up with a in intense session of bhangra followed by work on a new choreography that incorporates folk, classical Indian and modern dance styles which we will build on throughout the course.

I have been working tirelessly to launch my new, unique & distinct Indian Dance company here in the city. Look out New York! I think there is space to bridge some of the gaps between the heritage of Indian dance with the excitement of Bollywood. Ajna dance will offer classes (both group and private), choreography, professional performance and more. Stay tuned for more details about our vision, mission and services that we will offer.

Minila will be doing a small dance demo at the FAB (Fourth Arts Block) Festival in the Lower East Side on Saturday September 22nd sometime in the afternoon. Will post the exact time soon but if you're around, do come. It's free and will be fun! Stay tuned!
